Lectures in HAZU

Members of the Croatian Agrometeorological Society, Ph.D. Ivana Čavlina Tomašević from the State Hydrometeorological Institute and Prof. Damir Barčić, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, University of Zagreb, held lectures on 12 May this year at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts at the invitation of the President of the Scientific Council for Nature and Environmental Protection, Academician Goran Durn.

The moderator and organizer of the lecture was the Head of the Climate Section, Prof. Branko Grisogono, Ph.D. The lectures were held on the eve of the fire season with the topics: Meteorological analysis of catastrophic fires (Fire meteorology for the purpose of fire prevention); held by Ph.D. I. Čavlina Tomašević, and Protection of forest ecosystems from fires and adaptation measures held by Prof. D. Barčić.
